Army trainees test positive for Covid-19 in Bohol rise to 53

The total number of army trainees who have tested positive for Covid-19 hit 53 Tuesday, according to Dr. Cesar Tomas Lopez, spokesperson of the Bohol Inter-Agency Taskforce (BIATF).

In a virtual presser, Lopez said the trainees detected as Covid-19 positive have been staying in their barracks Camp Lino I. Chatto in Tubigon town.

Initially, there were only nine trainees who were considered as authorized persons outside residence (APOR) who were infected of Covid-19.

Lopez said all the trainees were asymptomatic.

They were isolated at two facilities in Tubigon.

Bohol has 559 confirmed cases of Covid-19 with 127 active cases and 421 recovered cases.
