The local government of Tubigon in Bohol province reported on Saturday, September 26, nine new confirmed cases of the COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
According to the Tubigon municipal government, the nine cases are currently isolated in the facilities.
The new 9 cases are:
TCC#34: 45 y.o., Male, P4 Pinayagan Norte, Tubigon, Bohol
TCC#35: 74 y.o., Female, Suba, Centro, Tubigon, Bohol
TCC#36: 76 y.o., Female, P2 Pooc Occidental, Tubigon, Bohol
TCC#37: 24 y.o., Male, P7 Potohan, Tubigon, Bohol
TCC#38: 63 y.o., Female, Suba, Centro, Tubigon, Bohol
TCC#39: 20 y.o., Female, P4 Pinayagan Sur, Tubigon, Bohol, Symptomatic, isolated
TCC#40: 17 y.o., Male, P5 Guiwanon, Tubigon, Bohol, Close contact of TCC#22, isolated
TCC#41: 29 y.o., Female, P3 Pooc Oriental, Tubigon, Bohol
TCC#42: 58 y.o., Female, Potohan, Tubigon, Bohol
All 30 Active Cases identified as community transmission are already isolated at the Isolation Facilities.
The granular lockdown in Barangay Cabulijan has been lifted by the MIATF while granular lockdowns are implemented in the following affected barangays:
Puroks 2,3,4 & 5 in Pooc Occidental,
2 House in Potohan,
a House in Cahayag,
Purok 4 in Pinayagan Norte,
a House in Guiwanon,
2 Houses in Pooc Oriental and
3 Houses in Centro.
A granular lockdown means identifying specific or smaller areas experiencing spikes in COVID-19 cases and restricting the movement of the people.
First and second generation close contacts of active cases and suspects are still in home quarantine for 14 days including employees of LGU-Tubigon.
Intensified contact tracing on close contacts of the new cases is still ongoing.
The LGU-Talibon advised TubignonsBatangueños to take preventive measures against the virus.
As of Saturday, Sept. 26, Tubigon has 42 recorded case, 30 active cases and 12 recoveries.
