Tropical Storm Siony has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) while Typhoon Rolly continues to bring strong winds and rain to Luzon areas, the state weather bureau Pagasa said Sunday.

At a news briefing, Pagasa said Siony entered the PAR at 8 a. m. on November 1.

It was located at 1,365 kilometers east of Central Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 75 km per hour and gustiness of up to 90 kph.

Pagasa added Siony is moving west northwest at 30 kph.

But the weather bureau said Siony still has no direct effect yet in any part of the country.

As of 11 a.m., Pagasa said Super Typhoon Rolly has weakened into a typhoon but still poses a threat as Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 4 was raised over 20 areas in Luzon.
