Pagasa raises Signal No. 1 over NCR, 20 other areas due to TD Pepito

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 was raised on Monday over parts of provinces Isabela and Aurora due to Tropical Depression Pepito.

In its 11 p.m. bulletin, Pagasa said the cyclone was last seen 305 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes packing maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 70 kph.

Signal No. 1 was raised over the following areas:

Isabela
Quirino
Nueva Vizcaya
Kalinga
Mountain Province
Ifugao
Benguet
La Union
Pangasinan
Aurora
Nueva Ecija
Tarlac
Zambales
Bulacan
Pampanga
Bataan
Metro Manila
Rizal
Northern portion of Quezon (General Nakar, Infanta, Real) including Polillo Islands
Extreme northern portion of Camarines Norte (Vinzons)
Catanduanes

Intermittent rains within 36 hours could also be expected, Pagasa said.
