Corella town has its new police station building on Tuesday, October 6, 2020.
Central Visayas Police Director Brigadier General Albert Ignatius Ferro led the inauguration, blessing and turnover ceremony of the standard type “B/C” Philippine National Police (PNP) building.
Ferro said they will continue to construct new police station buildings under the PNP Peace and Order Agenda for Transformation and Upholding of the Rule of Law or PNP P.A.T.R.O.L PLAN 2030 as long as the local government will also help in acquiring a lot for its building.
The three-story building, which costs P4.7 million, has a total land area of 400 square meters with a total floor area of 288 square meters.
The said edifice was built to provide a descent and conducive facility and a resilient structure that suit to the needs of our police personnel while serving the community.
The ground-breaking ceremony was done last June 13, 2019 and the construction of the building started sometime in August 2019.
After of more than a year, finally the said building was formally turned-over by Ferro to Corella Mayor Hilario Tocmo and to the officer-in-charge of Corella Municipal Police Station Executive Master Sergeant Larie Lumbab.
