The state’s weather bureau in Mactan warns of heat index in Bohol province to soar to 40 degrees Celsius today.
Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (Pag-asa) Mactan Weather Specialist Jhomar Eclarino warned in a forecast issued earlier today that heat index ranging from 37 – 40 degrees Celsius could cause heat exhaustation, heat cramps and heat stroke.
Extreme caution is advised.
Earlier this week, heat index in Bohol reached to only a maximum of 38 degrees.
