A locally stranded individual (LSI) in Ubay town has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), an official said Monday morning.
Governor Arthur Yap said he already informed Ubay Mayor Constantino Reyes of the results for the contact tracing to contain the virus.
This is the third case of infection recorded in town.
The first two cases — an LSI and a patient who was admitted in a hospital— were confirmed last week that prompted local officials to lockdown a portion of Tapal village.
