Malacañang announced on Tuesday that the Bohol province will be placed under General Community Qurantine, while quarantine measures is lifted in areas considered as low-risk for the coronavirus transmission starting May 16.

Last April 29, Bohol Governor Arthur Yap placed Bohol under general community quarantine (GCQ) from May 1 to May 31 after the National Inter Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF MEID) listed the province as among the low-risk areas in the country.

In his Executive Order No. 28, Yap also laid out several restrictions which would continue to be in place while Bohol remains under GCQ, or until May 31. However, EO-28 allowed elderly and minors to go out on certain days which started last May 4.

Metro Manila, Laguna and Cebu City will be placed under modified enhanced community quarantine from May 16 until May 31, 2020.

Provinces in Region I, Region IV-B, Region V, Region VI, Region VIII, Region X, Region XII and ARMM will no longer be placed under enhanced or general community quarantine from May 16.
