The beaches in the city of Tagbilaran have turned a clear aquamarine hue because of the absence of human activity due to the government’s efforts to mitigate the spread of Covid-19.
The Caingget Beach in Barangay Booy shows sparkling waters and glittering beach.
It is normally fill up with vacationers in April and May.
Well aware of the popularity of the city’s beaches during holidays, the barangay blocked access and deployed village staff to patrol the beach to prevent people from any gatherings.
Only fishermen are allowed in the beach.
Stalls that sells fresh seafoods are still closed.
