A woman was injured after her brother-in-law hacked her in Trinidad town Sunday night.
The victim was identified as Flor Bituonan, 25, a resident of Barangay Manuel A. Roxas in Trinidad town.
Bituonan said that around 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, her brother-in-law Rey Nuena, 23, came to see her at her house for a talk.
She said they had a heated argument that the suspect hacked her.
Bituonan suffered from injuries in her stomach and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Nuena fled but later surrendered to the police.
