Asteria “Aster” Cabagnot Caberte, regional director of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Central Visayas, was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte as assistant secretary of DTI.
Caberte’s appointment paper was released by Malacañang on Tuesday.
On Facebook, DTI-Bohol congratulated Caberte for her promotion to assistant secretary.
Caberte, who is a native of Sevilla town, was with DTI since 1979. She became a provincial director for three years before she was appointed regional director.
