Two men were arrested for the possession of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations in Tagbilaran City on Tuesday afternoon.

Arrested were Epipani Cañada, 27, a resident of Hontanosas Street in Barangay Poblacion III, Tagbilaran City; and Darien Jay Deliman, 27, a resident of Barangay Laya, Baclayon town.

Police said Cañada and Deliman were listed on the watchlist.

The buy-bust operations were conducted by the
Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) of Bohol Provincial Police Office under the command of acting provincial director Police Colonel Jonathan Cabal.

Cañada, a street level target, was arrested in a buy-bust operation at around 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday at Barangay Poblacion III, Tagbilaran City.

Seized from the suspect were sachets of suspected shabu worth P27, 540.00.

In a follow-up operation, Deliman, a high value target, was arrested with sachets of suspected shabu worth P53, 720.00.

A complaint for the violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is now being prepared against the suspects.
