Motorcycle riders hurt in San Miguel collision

Two motorcycle riders, who were not wearing helmets, were hurt in a vehicle collision along the highway in San Miguel town on Monday.

A report from the San Miguel police said that at 6 a.m. on Monday, November 11, Jaypee Mormar, 34, a resident of Barangay Bugang, was on his way to work in the town proper when he lost control of his motorcycle along the national highway in Barangay Tambangay Norte.

This led to the motorcycle colliding head-on with an oncoming motorcycle driven by Leo Nasilya Jr,19, a resident of Barangay Poblacion in San Miguel town.

Both drivers were badly injured and was rushed to a hospital in Tagbilaran.
