A 44-year-old motorist was badly hurt after he sideswiped a woman who hurriedly crossed the highway in Buenavista town on Monday afternoon.
Report from police said the victim, Roldan Postrero, a resident of Barangay Anonang in Inabanga town, was on his way home when he suddenly hit a woman, who hurriedly crossed the road at around 4:40.p.m. at Buenavista town proper.
Prostrero, who was not wearing a helmet, crashed and suffered multiple injuries in the body.
They were brought to Francisco Dagohoy Memorial District Hospital. However, Postrero was later referred to the Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital in Tagbilaran City due to the serious injury on his head.
