The observance of Undas 2019 in Central Visayas was “generally peaceful”, according to the overall assessment of the top official from Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7).
Police Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon, regional director of PRO-7, said in a statement that they’ve achieved the zero incident for this year’s observation.

According to the data they’ve provided, they’ve estimated that a total of 3,549,061 visitors have went to the different cemeteries all over the region.
In Bohol alone, the Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO) reported a total of 428,652 visitors.
Brig. Gen. De Leon also commended his officers and men for doing a “job well done”.
“Kudos to all of you especially the command grohp, regional staff, provincial and city commanders, and of course, our chiefs of police and station commanders,” De Leon said in a statement sent to reporters.
There were a total of 599 personnel deployed for BPPO and 143 assistance hubs established.
BPPO reportedly assisted a total of 10,232 individuals and deployed 248 road safety marshals.
BPPO has also confiscated 344 bladed weapons and 47 alcoholic beverage.
They also seized 10 other illegal items.
