Televangelist Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, founder of the Kingdom of Jesus, the Name Above Every Name, said that people should thank him for stopping the earthquake in Mindanao.

A 6.5 magnitude jolted some parts of Mindanao
at 9:11 a.m. on Thursday, October 31, two days after a powerful quake shook the land. Damaged buildings were reported in Davao City and other areas struck by the earthquake.

In a video shared by Youtube user Vergel Cabero on Thursday, Quiboloy said he “yelled” at the quake to stop – and it did.

Quiboloy, the self-acclaimed “Appointed Son of God”, said it would’ve been a lot worse if he hadn’t quickly, graciously commanded the tectonic plates in the earth’s crust to stop shifting — twice!

In his regular two-hour religious TV program “Give Us This Day,” which aired Oct. 30, the Davao City-based Quiboloy recounted in Filipino, “Nung lumindol ng 6.6 (magnitude) nandoon ako kahapon, nandoon ako sa kuwarto ko, sabi ko, ‘lindol stop, umi-stop’! (When it quaked yesterday I was there. I said to the quake, stop! And it did!)

“Tapos pangalawa 11 siguro yun nandiyan si Ingrod, nandiyan si sino kasama ko dun, nagsusulat ako, sabi ko, Stop!’ E di nag-stopped,” (Another one came at around 11, it quaked again, I said stop. And of course, it stopped).

“Pasalamat kayo sa akin, kasi kung hindi ko pina-stop ‘yon, marami kayong magigiba diyan, mamamatay kayo! Kaya’t pasalamat kayo at ako ang nagpa-stop ng lindol.(You should thank me. If I didn’t make [the earthquake] stop, a lot of you would have [suffered] a building collapse; you’d all be dead,” he said..

According to him, there were witnesses when he ordered the earthquake to stop.

His audience cheered and clapped at the pastor’s pronouncements, some even uttered: “Amen!”

In his television program Powerline, aired on Friday, October 18, he said the 6.3-magnitude earthquake hit areas have influence of the Kapa Community Ministry International Inc. (Kapa).

“Kaya mag-ingat kayo. Wag ninyong galitin ang anak. Baka totohanin ko yung sinasabi ninyong pindotin ko yung ‘vibrator’ ng sanlibutan. Guguho kayo diyan (Be careful. Do not mess with the son, or else I will seriously push the ‘vibrator’ button. You would crumble once I do that),” he said

Quiboloy, 69, has been claiming he is the “appointed son of God and the owner of the universe.”

And Quiboloy is serious.
