It all started with “Kita Ka Sa Among Balay” post on Facebook that drew ire from netizens.
“Kita ka sa among balay? Mao ni diri. O, yan may saeiling eskwelahan. Pang-mayaman. Only rich can afford. O, di bah? Grabeh si Pastor noh kay gilibre niya ang mga pobre unya pagkahuman daut-daoton lang. Way batasan,” a man in a selfie video said.
The viral video was posted on “Pildi ang Mainggit” Facebook account.
The man in the video was later identified by netizens as Jade Ondong. Although it was not clear what house and school Ondong were referring to but many netizens said those were the properties of Pastor C. Apollo Quiboloy.
Ondong, a Kingdom citizen, is a follower of Quiboloy, a self-acclaimed “Appointed Son of God.”
The video earned negative reactions from netizens. Parodies were also uploaded in the social media to respond to Ondong’s video.
The second viral video of Ondong was facing criticisms on social media after he complained about some goods sent by the donors to the victims of Mindanao quake.
He recorded the scenes during the distribution of relief goods sent by Quiboloy in North Cotabato.
Ondong praised the Pastor in the video saying that he’s too generous to give many things to the victims of the quake, while others are only donating items that are only good for one day.
“Grabe talaga si Pastor kung magbigay hindi kakaunti lang, talagang malakihan… maramihan, kasi hindi ka naman nagbibigay ng pang ‘one-da’ lang, na konsumo,” Ondong said in Cebuano.
The man also showed something who came from other donors, complaining about how small the donation they sent in that area.
“Masakit sa dibdib, ganito lang? Ito lang ang kaya? Grabe, okay lang naman… pero pakisuyo naman sana laki-lakihan nyo naman, tignan niyo naman oh? My God… ano lang ba ito? ” Ondong said while showing a small toothbrush and toothpaste.
“Next time kung magbibigay kayo damihan nyo naman… wag kukunti lang… kasi hindi maganda… kung magbibigay kana lang man din… ano ba to joke? Kung magbibigay ka dapat maramihan… ito ano ba to? Kaya siguro tinapon nalang ito,” he added.
Ondong then praised Quiboloy saying that the Pastor got so much money and even gave snacks to the children.
“Grabe ang pagmamahal ni Pastor… overflowing,” he said.
Again, he received criticisms on social media for his video. The video responses were uploaded on “Pildi Ang Maibog” Facebook account.
However, days after his video, Ondong apologized via another video message. Wearing golden wings, he started his message by apologizing for a delayed message since he just arrived from other galaxy.
“Pasayloa ko ninyo. Mao man gud ginatudlo namo ni Pastor nga kung unsa imong sayup angkunon gyud. Kay mali man dawaton jud siya ug magpaubos lang sa kaugalingon. So I accept it. Mapasaylo ba ko ninyo ani?”
