The Department of Education (DepEd) Division of Bohol has a new schools division superintendent.
Dr. Bianito Dagatan formally assumed his new assignment this morning, October 24. He was the former schools division superintendent of Cebu City.
Dagatan replaced Dr. Nimfa Bongo who was reassigned to Mandaue City.
On Wednesday, Dagatan and Dr. Rhea Mar Angtud, the incoming Cebu City Schools District Superintendent, visited Mayor Edgar Colina Labella to inform him of the latest development in the education sector in the city.
Mayor Labella thanked Dagatan of his contribution in leading DepEd Cebu City as the latter moved to his new assignment.
“It is likewise, an honor and privilege to serve the DepEd Cebu City Division as the Schools Division Superintendent. Thanking all of you is never enough but i have to say thank you very much,” Dagatan said in a Facebook post.
