The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) has named four towns in Bohol that considered delinquent in terms of enforcing the road clearing order of President Rodrigo Duterte via Secretary Eduardo Año.

The municipalities of Antequera, Garcia Hernandez, Talibon and Valencia were included in the list of local government units (LGU) who have failed to implement the national order of clearing major roads and recover parts of the highway and sidewalk that have been encroached.

In Cebu, seven LGUs likewise received a failing mark. These include Carcar City, and the towns of Badian, Carmen, Compostela, Ginatilan, Moalboal, Pinamungajan. In Siquijor, only the town of Larena made it to the list.

The list, released by DILG on October 11, Friday, was the result of simultaneous inspection and validation conducted by the national government identified the 98 LGUs found to have disregarded the order to retrieve parts of highway and sidewalk illegally occupied.

This included 11 LGUs from Region 1, one (1) from both Region 2 and Region 3, seven (7) from Region 4B, 10 from Region 5, one (1) from Region 6, 12 from Region 7, 9 from Region 8, 18 from Region 9, 13 from Region 10, 3 from both Region 11 and Region 12, 4 from Region 13, and 4 from CAR.
