A farmer from Tubigon town, who is running for Bohol governor, is the first to file her Certificate of Candidacy (COC) on October 1, 2021, in Bohol.
Concepcion Flores, 54, from Barangay Centro, has filed her candidacy at the provincial Commission on Election (Comelec) Office around 3:30 p.m.
It was Flores’ second time to run for governor.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday led national and local government officials in assessing the situation in Bogo City, the hardest-hit area of the 6.9-magnitude earthquake that struck Cebu and nearby provinces on September 30.
Atty. Jordan Pizarras, a seasoned lawyer and staunch advocate for justice, officially filed his candidacy on Saturday, Oct. 5 as the 1st District Representative of the province of Bohol.
Bohol has been granted P196 million under the Fiscal Year 2026 Local Government Support Fund–Financial Assistance (LGSF-FA) Bagong Pilipinas Rice Program, strengthening the province’s push to enhance rice production and food security.
