Expect cooler days ahead as the country’s climate transitions to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), according to the weather bureau Pagasa.
The Southwest monsoon (Habagat) season is coming to an end, signaling the start of cool weather brought by the Amihan.
Pagasa is also monitoring Typhoon Hagibis, which is currently still outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR).
It may enter PAR by Friday should it continue to move in a west northwest direction at 25 kilometers per hour.
