3 injured in road accidents in Bohol towns

Two men and a woman were injured in separate road crashes in Bohol towns on Tuesday, September 24.

Ronel Torregosa, 31, a resident of Barangay San Carlos in Danao town, was driving his motorcycle, heading to the capital town of Buenavista from Inabanga town when he figured in an accident with another motorcycle at about 10 a.m.

When he reached the curved portion of the road in Barangay Panghagban in Buenavista town, he collided with another motorcycle from the opposite lane.

Both vehicles swerved and crashed into a concrete.

Even if he was wearing a helmet and protective gear, Torregosa suffered a head injury and was immediately brought to Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital (GCGMH) in Tagbilaran for treatment.

Two hours after the incident in Buenavista town,
another motorist was injured after he lost control of his motorcyle in Calape town.

Benjamin Lao, 31, a resident of Barangay San Isidro in Calape, was immediately brought to GCGMH.

Lao, according to a police investigation, was drunk.

A woman in Sikatuna town was severely injured when she also lost control of her motorcycle.

Angelie Buyonas, 21, a resident of Barangay Can-ago in Sikatuna, was on her way to attend a vigil at 11 p.m. on Tuesday when she crashed on the road in the town proper.

Buyonas was immediately brought to GCGMH.
