The family until now remains clueless as to why their 67-year-old grandfather took his own life in Lila town.
Lila Police said the grandfather was doing his daily routine of tending to his carabao in the field on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 24.

But the family were shocked when they already saw him hanging inside his room at past 6 p.m. on the same day.

They told police that for the past days the old man was “silent and lonely”.

Police said there was no indication of foul play on his death.
