Bohol Governor Arthur Yap had filed seven counts of cyberlibel complaints against social media influencer Willy Ramasola, also his staunch critic, over his Facebook posts.

Yap filed the complaints Wednesday (March 18) at the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor.

Yap said it got to the point that Ramasola was no longer respectful and even harassed other provincial government employees who were honest in their work.

He said everyone under the law has the right to free speech but we have no right to insult others.

David vs Goliath

Meanwhile, Ramasola said he will answer the complaints filed by Yap adding that no amount of cases will silence him from exposing alleged anomalies in the Capitol.

“I signed up for this war. Freely.
And I will make him pay for this. Will expose him more. My team plans to file more cases against him,” Ramasola said in his Facebook post.

“I am just a little David fighting a Goliath in the Capitol. But I firmly believe the truth and the good will prevail over evil in the end.
So help me, God, in this battle,” he added.
