Three persons were caught in a buy bust operation on Tuesday afternoon, September 10, 2019, inside the Palo Cemetery in Barangay Palo in Loay town.

Loay Police Station identified the suspects as Jobert Erbina Pequet, 32, Wilfredo Viton Medel, 44 and Jan Michael Lebios Maglajos, 20–all residents of Poblacion Ibabao in Loay town.

An undercover police officer bought shabu from the suspects inside the Palo cemetery at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.

Four small sachets with suspected shabu were seized from Pequit, three pieces small heat-sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu from Medel, and three small sachets from Maglajos.

The recovered shabu has an estimated value of P20,400.00.

Police arrested the suspects and brought them to the station pending the filing of a case against them for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
