Motorcycle driver’s leg amputated after crash in Candijay town

A motorcycle driver had his legs amputated after a crash in Candijay town on Tuesday morning.

The driver, who is a minor, told Bohol Island News in an interview that the incident happened at 7a.m. after he sent his sibling to school.

He admitted that he was running on top speed and crashed on a “Rela”.

He was brought to Medicare in Candijay but was later on referred to Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital because of the serious injury he acquired.

The driver is still at the hospital recuperating after the operation.
