LTO employees to undergo retraining after Panglao incident

Land Transportation Office (LTO) Chief, Assistant Secretary Vigor D. Mendoza II has ordered the conduct of refresher courses for all the agency enforcers nationwide following the viral incident in Panglao, Bohol.

Bohol economy grows by 6.6%

Despite the economically debilitating El Niño phenomenon and other climatic challenges that wreaked havoc in Bohol in 2023, the bullish economy of the tourist island bounced back to a 6.6 percent growth, from a pandemic -6.3 percent economic growth in 2020, the Philippine Statistics Authority said. 

DENR: Mabini’s Campsite violates law, no ECC/CNC

The newfound and established tourism come-on called The Campsite – A Lake View Escape, located in barangay Cabidian, Mabini, Bohol has breached the law, Presidential Decree No. 1586, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Talibon-based Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (Cenro) said.
