BOHOL-PANGLAO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IS NOW AN ABOITIZ INFRACAPITAL AIRPORT

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) officially turned over on Monday, June 16, the operations and management of Bohol-Panglao International Airport to Aboitiz InfraCapital, the infrastructure arm of the Aboitiz Group.

The Department of Transportation (DOTr), the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (Caap), and Aboitiz InfraCapital, Inc. (AIC) formalized a landmark agreement on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the Kalayaan Hall in Malacañang, Manila, to manage, operate, and expand the Bohol-Panglao International Airport (BPIA).

BPIA conducts emergency exercise

The Bohol-Panglao International Airport (BPIA) conducted its full-scale emergency exercise on Friday, October 27, 2023, at BPIA’s airside premises to showcase its preparedness and emergency response capability during an aircraft emergency and mass casualty incident.
