LOAY, BOHOL — The Bohol provincial government has officially turned over a P15-million check to the local government unit (LGU) of Loay as a prize for its achievement as first runner-up in the 2024 Sandugo sa Bohol.
The check was released after the LGU completed all the required documents and requirements.
The prize will be used to fund a road concreting project leading to Himontagon Hills, which is expected to support local development and improve access to the area.
Loay Mayor Lahar Ayuban personally received the check, together with Ana Jaycel Molas, Revenue Collection Clerk II of the LGU.
The provincial government expressed its appreciation to the LGU Loay for its continued support and partnership in promoting the welfare of the Loaynons and contributing to the development of the province.
The P15-million prize forms part of the Sandugo sa Bohol program, which recognizes participating local government units and highlights their cultural and development initiatives.
