TAGBILARAN CITY — Bohol-based dance crew T-MATES failed to secure a podium finish in the Team Division of the World of Dance Summit Global Championship 2026 after competing in the finals held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, USA.
The Boholano dancers advanced to the final round after placing sixth among 38 crews in the championship round but were unable to finish in the Top 3.
Representing the Philippines, the UP Streetdance Club claimed third place in the Team Division with a score of 93.84%.
Japan’s Marve£ won the championship with 95.85%, while Canada’s Alpha Megacrew finished second with 95.78%.
Despite missing a podium finish, T-MATES earned recognition for their performance and for representing Bohol and the Philippines in one of the world’s premier international street dance competitions. Their journey to the finals marked a significant achievement for the Bohol-based crew on the global stage.
