Twenty-one employees of the provincial government of Bohol formally received their appointments and promotions during a ceremony led by Governor Aris Aumentado, underscoring the provincial administration’s commitment to building a capable, dedicated, and service-oriented workforce.

The newly appointed and promoted personnel came from various Capitol offices, including six from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, six from the President Carlos P. Garcia Memorial Hospital in Pitogo, four from the Provincial Planning and Development Office, three from the Provincial Administrator’s Office/Provincial Project Management Unit, and one each from the Governor’s Office and the Provincial Engineer’s Office.

In a message shared on his Facebook page, Aumentado reminded the employees of their responsibility as public servants, stressing that government service should transcend political affiliations and remain focused on delivering genuine service to the people.

“Regardless of political preferences, manghinaot ako nga inyong ipadangat ang serbisyong tinud-anay kay og unsa man ang mga accomplishments sa administrasyon karon, kabahin kamo niana sa inyong matinud-anon nga pag-alagad sa katawhan,” the governor said.

Anchored with Capitol’s Strategic Governance Roadmap, the appointments and promotions form part of the provincial government’s efforts to build a stronger bureaucracy capable of efficiently responding to the needs of Boholanos and sustaining the gains of the province’s development programs across the province, a Unesco Global Geopark.
