TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol — A person was arrested by the Tagbilaran City Police Station during an operation against the alleged illegal sale of tickets for the “Maoy sa Mayo” event.
The event is on May 30 at the CPG Sports Complex featuring Arthur Nery and Khel Pangilinan.
Police said the suspect was apprehended after being caught allegedly selling tickets for the activity, which authorities emphasized are distributed free of charge and are not intended for sale.
The police reminded the public that all tickets for the “Maoy sa Mayo” celebration are free and warned residents against purchasing tickets from unauthorized individuals to avoid being victimized by scammers.
Authorities also urged the public to refrain from engaging in illegal activities and to support initiatives that promote peace, order, and public safety in the community.
