UBAY, Bohol — Bohol 2nd District Rep. Vanessa Aumentado distributed maternity kits to newly delivered mothers at Don Emilio Del Valle Memorial Hospital as part of her birthday outreach activity on Wednesday, May 20.
A total of 16 mothers received the maternity packages, including mothers of 10 baby boys and six baby girls currently admitted at the hospital.
Each maternity kit contained a stroller, three-piece onesies, pillows, diapers, wipes, and a grooming kit.
Aumentado said the gifts were her simple but heartfelt birthday treat as she celebrates her 45th birthday on May 21. She added that the assistance came from her personal funds.
The lawmaker also expressed gratitude to the hospital staff for their warm welcome and assistance during the distribution activity.
She likewise commended the hospital for its continued services to Boholanos.
