BATUAN, BOHOL – Two female retired teachers were found dead and in an advanced state of decomposition in Upper Cabacnitan, Batuan town, on Tuesday afternoon, July 22, 2025.
The Batuan Municipal Police confirmed the discovery around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to authorities, the siblings—whose names have been withheld pending notification of relatives—were found inside their house with visible injuries on their bodies, raising suspicions of foul play.
Police and Scene of the Crime Operatives (Soco) are currently on-site to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
