TAGBILARAN CITY — A concerned citizen has called on local authorities to address alleged recurring assault incidents at a crossing in Talibon town, claiming that similar cases have happened multiple times.
According to the post of resident, at least three incidents have already been reported, with victims allegedly being beaten despite having no prior record.
In one case, the victim was reportedly attacked on his birthday while simply eating noodles, making the situation even more distressing.
The same source claimed that previous incidents were dismissed as cases of mistaken identity, based on accounts from a parent of one of the victims.
The public is now urging local officials to look into the matter and ensure safety in the area.
