TAGBILARAN CITY — A blessing ceremony was held Tuesday, March 3, for newly acquired rescue boats of the provincial government of Bohol.
Gov. Erico Aristotle Aumentado led the ceremony together with Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Anthony Damalerio.
The province formally blessed three new speed boats, one inflatable rubber boat, and related rescue equipment to be used for maritime emergency operations.
The equipment, worth P5,435,560, was funded by the Provincial Government through the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).
Officials expressed gratitude to the PDRRMO and partner agencies for their continued support in maintaining a peaceful and safe province.
