TAGBILARAN CITY — Only 46 percent of adult Filipinos described themselves as “very happy with their love life,” matching last year’s figure and marking the lowest level recorded in more than two decades, according to the latest survey by Social Weather Stations (SWS).
The survey, conducted from November 24 to 30, 2025, found that 40 percent of respondents said they “could be happier” with their love life, while 14 percent reported having no love life at all.
SWS said the 46 percent who are very happy with their love life is the same as the 2024 result and the lowest since the question was first asked in 2004.
Meanwhile, those who felt they could be happier increased by four percentage points from 36 percent last year. On the other hand, the proportion of adults who said they had no love life declined by four points from 18 percent in 2024.
The poll was based on face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adults nationwide and has a sampling error margin of ±3 percent for national percentages, SWS said.
The findings highlight shifting sentiments among Filipinos when it comes to romantic relationships, even as overall levels of satisfaction have remained at historic lows in recent years.
