TAGBILARAN CITY — The Tagbilaran City government has begun the 2026 implementation of its 5kg Rice Program, with assistance now being delivered directly to households across the city.
Starting today, January 27, rice packs will be distributed to all registered families listed in the latest Barangay Registry of Inhabitants (RBI), marking a shift to a house-to-house delivery system aimed at faster and more convenient service.
In a news release, Mayor Jane Yap said the city government is ensuring that basic support reaches every Tagbilaranon family at the start of the year.
Residents are advised to coordinate with the City General Services Office (CGSO), the City Administrator’s Office, or their respective barangay offices for the schedule and other distribution details.
