TAGBILARAN CITY — The Diocese of Tagbilaran has joyfully announced that Rev. Fr. Marcelo Operiano Jr., parish priest of Holy Cross Parish in Maribojoc, is among those who successfully passed the September 2025 Bar Examinations.
Fr. Operiano was among the 5,594 examinees who passed the highly competitive licensure exam. Records show that 11,420 examinees out of 13,193 registered applicants completed the three-day examinations, which were held on September 7, 10, and 14 at 14 testing centers nationwide.
The diocese described Fr. Operiano’s achievement as a significant milestone in both his academic and priestly journey, reflecting years of dedication, discipline, and service.
Church officials noted that his accomplishment is a blessing not only to him personally but also to the wider Church community. His legal training is expected to further strengthen his pastoral ministry, particularly in advancing justice, safeguarding rights, and providing informed guidance within both ecclesial and civil contexts.
