The Provincial Statistics Committee (PSC) convened on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the New Capitol Building to review key statistical indicators guiding Bohol’s governance and development agenda.
Chaired by lawyer John Titus Vistal with Vice Chair Jessamyn Anne Alcazaren, the meeting gathered representatives from national and provincial agencies to assess performance reports and sectoral data.
The Bohol Police Provincial Office reported a 3.89 percent overall drop in crime incidents from January to September 2025, with focus crimes—such as theft, robbery, and physical injury—declining by 65.82 percent Anti-drug operations also led to 661 arrests in 626 operations.
The PSC also noted Bohol’s 8.8 percent GDP growth, signaling continued economic recovery and resilience.
Vistal emphasized that accurate data remains vital to evidence-based policymaking as Bohol—recognized as the country’s first Unesco Global Geopark—advances its goals of sustainability and inclusive growth.
