CORELLA, BOHOL – A male high school student from a school here has been suspended after a prank involving a spiked drink sent his 13-year-old female classmate to the hospital on Friday.
According to reports, the boy offered the girl a juice without telling her it had been mixed with an adult enhancement drink known as “Robust.” Moments after drinking it, the victim began experiencing difficulty breathing and later collapsed.
She was rushed to the Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Medical Center in Tagbilaran City, where she is now in stable condition and out of danger.
The incident prompted the school administration to conduct an investigation and immediately impose disciplinary action against the male student. Officials stressed that the prank was reckless and posed a serious risk to the health and safety of others.
The school also urged parents to be more vigilant about the items their children buy online or from local stores, noting that unsafe products could endanger young students if misused.
Authorities are monitoring the case while the suspended student faces further disciplinary review.
