TAGBILARAN CITY, BOHOL — The Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO) reported the arrest of several wanted individuals in a series of intelligence-driven operations conducted across the province on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
German national arrested in Panglao
At around 10:15 a.m. on July 11, police in Panglao arrested Klaus Peter Partes, a 61-year-old German national and business owner, at his residence in Purok 4, Barangay Bolod. Partes was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 47 in Tagbilaran City for violation of Presidential Decree 957, as amended by PD 1216, which regulates the sale of subdivision lots and condominiums. He faces three criminal cases (Nos. 30548, 30549, 30550) with bail set at P60,000 for each.
The arrest was part of an intelligence-led operation recorded in compliance with legal protocols. He was brought to the Panglao Police Station after undergoing a medical exam.
Business owner nabbed in Panglao for VAWC violation
On the same day at 11:10 a.m., Christopher John Canlas Martinez, 34, a business owner from Purok 8, Barangay Poblacion, Panglao, was arrested by local police. He was wanted for violation of Section 5(a) of Republic Act 9262, also known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act.
The warrant was issued by a court in Puerto Princesa City on November 23, 2015, with a recommended bail of P10,000.
Getafe police arrest suspect for cattle rustling
At 11:25 p.m. in Getafe town, police served a warrant of arrest against Arnold Degamo Bemil, 48, a driver residing in Barangay Cabasakan. Degamo was wanted for violation of PD 533 (Anti-Cattle Rustling Law) under Criminal Case No. 05-1648. The warrant was issued by RTC Branch 52 in Talibon, Bohol in 2005, with bail set at P36,000. He was taken to the Getafe Police Station following a medical examination.
