P3.5M worth of suspected shabu seized in Tubigon buy-bust

TUBIGON, BOHOL – Authorities seized an estimated P3.5 million worth of suspected shabu in a successful buy-bust operation on Sunday, July 20 in Barangay Cabulihan, Tubigon.

The suspects, a 51-year-old resident of Brgy. Cabulihan and a 25-year-old from Brgy. Centro, were arrested after selling a heat-sealed sachet of suspected drugs to an undercover agent.

Police also recovered five more sachets believed to contain shabu.

The operation was led by Captain Jose Rodel Villaruel under the supervision of Lt. Col. Eduardo Guevara Jr., with support from the Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO).

“This is proof of our relentless campaign to rid Bohol of illegal drugs,” said Bohol police director Col. Arnel Banzon.

The BPPO called on the public to remain vigilant and continue reporting drug-related activities to help protect the community and future generations.
