BACLAYON, BOHOL — Senator Christopher “Bong” Go extended immediate assistance to a family injured in a road accident in Baclayon town on Friday, July 11.
The senator, who had just attended the 428th Foundation Day and 3rd Suba Festival in nearby Loboc as guest speaker, was en route to Tagbilaran when he came across the aftermath of a collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.
Go personally ensured that the injured motorcycle rider, his wife, and their child were rushed to the nearest hospital. An ambulance later arrived to provide further medical aid.
As chair of the Senate Committee on Health, Go also committed medical assistance for the family and reminded the public to “always prioritize safety on the road.”
