1Pacman Partylist 1st nominee Milka Romero has made a commitment to focus on sports development and helping the youth of Cortes if she wins a seat in House of Representatives.
Romero said she will aim for inclusivity in implementation of sports clinics and competitions for the Cortesanons.
Romero was in Cortes last Saturday, May 3, to attend the caravan and grand rally of Team Serbisyong Limpyo led by mayoral candidate Ira Lim at Cortes Ampitheater in Barangay Poblacion.
The event was also attended by congressional bet Baba Yap, reelectionist Tagbilaran Mayor Jane Yap, Mayor Iven Lim, Board Member Lucille Lagunay, Goldie Herrera and Willy Ramasola.

The 4Ps, or the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, stems from a bill sponsored in the House of Representatives by 1Pacman Rep. Mikee Romero, Milka’s father.
“Iisa lang ang iboboto ng bayan sa Mayo para sa party-list. 1Pacman’s track record honors your trust,” she said.
Ira Lim thanked her supporters.
“Gikan sa kasingkasing sa tibuok Team Serbisyong Limpyo, among ipadayag ang among mapasalamaton kaayong pagbati sa inyong mainiton nga pagdawat ug bug-os nga suporta sa among Proclamation Rally. Ang inyong presensya, mga pahiyom, ug mga pag-awhag usa ka tin-aw nga pahinumdom nga ang katawhan sa Cortes andam na gyud sa usa ka LIMpyo og tinud-anay nga panerbisyo,” she said in a Facebook post.
She added,” Dili gayud matukib sa mga pulong ang among kalipay nga makita ang mga Cortesanon nga naghiusa, nagbarug, ug nagpakabana. Kamo ang hinungdan nganong nagpadayon mi sa among paningkamot, ug kamo usab ang inspirasyon sa among tinguha nga itukod ang usa ka gobyernong mapatuyang sa tinuod nga serbisyo, dili lang sa papel kundi sa buhat.”
