The year 2025 proves to be very important and pivotal year for Puregold as it opened its first store in Bohol province on Thursday, April 3, 2025.
The grand opening ceremony was highlighted by a ceremonial ribbon-cutting led by Bohol Governor Aris Aumentado, and Puregold Vice President for Operations Antonio de los Santos.
Also present were 2nd district Rep. Vanessa Aumentado, board member Jamie Aumentado Villamor, Ubay Mayor Constantino Reyes, and other local officials.
It is the 511th Puregold store in the country.
Hundreds of mall goers stormed the newly opened Puregold as residents and from nearby towns were thrilled to experience shopping seen as a symbol of progress, growth, and new opportunities for the province.
Aumentado said the establishment of Puregold Ubay is expected to boost the local retail sector, providing greater convenience, competitive pricing, and a wider selection of products for Boholano consumers.
