Seven men were arrested and a total of P104,200 worth of shabu were confiscated in eight anti-drug operations dubbed as Synchronized Enhanced Managing of Police Operations (SEMPO).
The said operation was conducted by the Tubigon Police Station on Thursday, October 3.
The search warrants were issued by Vice Executive Judge Sisinio Virtudazo, presiding judge, RTC Branch 4, Tagbilaran City for violations of R. A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Junfil Lamanilao, 23, a Tokhang surrenderee, also a “Street Level Target” watchlist and a resident of Ilijan, Tubigon was arrested after sachets of suspected shabu were seized from his possession. It has an estimated weight of 2.4 grams and a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P16, 320.
Neil Cabatos, 39, a resident of Barangay Panaytayon, Tubigon, was also arrested. Siezed from the suspect were sachets of suspected shabu worth P12,240.
Also arrested was Ryan Apaap, 29, a resident of Potohan, Tubigon. He availed the plea bargaining agreement for violations of R.A. 9165 and released from prison last June 3, 2019. Siezed from the suspect were sachets of suspected shabu worth P3,400.
There was also P20,300 worth of shabu that were owned by Domingo Bagalor and Romeo Bagalor, both residents of Ilijan Norte. However, both were not present during the implementation of the search warrant. Both are placed ‘at large’ by the police.
Also subjects of the police raid were Philip Yawan, 39, a resident of Barangay Pinayagan Sur and Cesario Terce Jr. , a resident of Ubujan, Tubigon.
Seized from Yawan were sachets of suspected shabu worth P18,360, while Terce yielded sachets of suspected shabu worth P34,000. However, the subjects were also not present during the raid and are also declared ‘at large’ by the police.
The arrested suspects are now in the custody of Tubigon Municipal Police Station.
