Sharing her extensive experience as an athlete, 1Pacman partylist’s first nominee Milka Romero aimed to champion for accessible sports program across the nation.
She was one of the guests of honor during the opening Saulog Tagbilaran Sportsfest 2025 at the City Hall ground. The other guest was boxing legend and former senator Manny Pacquiao.
Romero highlighted her vision to create pathways for young athletes and empower Filipino youth through sports.
She shared that sports binded the community together.
She said 1Pacman is the only partylist that advocates sports and youth development.
“Hopefully we can have more Olympians, hopefully we can have more champions. Kasi tayo po ay champion sa sports, champion sa buhay,” said Romero, owner of Capital1 in the Premier Volleyball League.
Earlier, Romero attended the Mayor’s Cup Cortes Inter-Basketball League Season 2 Awarding Ceremonies.
