Illegal drugs worth P1.8 million were confiscated during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Tagbilaran City Police, Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) of the Bohol Police Provincial Office in Purok 2, Barangay Bool on Tuesday early morning, Jan. 14, 2025.
The suspect was identified as Josh Vincent Pelayre Pilotos , a resident of Purok Lansones, Brgy. Sta. Cruz Pooc, Baclayon town, Bohol.
He yielded alleged shabu weighing 1,050 grams, with a standard drug price of P1.8 million.
In a Facebook post, Gov. Erico Aristotle Aumentado lauded the operation of the police.
“Kini nga operasyon, uban sa daghan pa nilang kalampusan, nagpamatuod nga seryoso ang atong Pangagamhanan sa paglimpyo sa komunidad batok sa impluwensya sa ilegal nga droga,” said Aumentado.
