Through the office of Senator Francis “Tol” Tolentino, about 3,500 beneficiaries from different areas in Bohol received financial assistance from the Assistance to Individual in Crisis Situation (AICS) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Thursday, Nov. 28.
Tolentino led the distribution of AICS payout in Panglao, Dauis, Baclayon, Corella, Maribojoc and Antequera.
The senator then proceeded to Tagbilaran City for the AICS payout distribution to beneficiaries.
During the payout, Tolentino was welcomed by Mayor Jane Yap and other officilas.
Each beneficiary received P2, 000.
DSWD joined forces with the local authorities to ensure the seamless distribution of aid.
The AICS beneficiaries extended their heartfelt thanks to Tolentino for the timely financial assistance.
